It was amazing. The cabin was a stones throw from the pond literally. It was completely worth the money. I would love to live here. All the employees are amazing and very nice. I would recommend it to anyone in the world.

We just stayed in the Southern Cross Suite. Wow…..the room is gigantic and comes with tons of amenities. The views are beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and extremely large and diverse. We got to see so many exotic animals…zebras, a camel, alpacas, and bison. We also got to pet the 2 friendly bulldogs and horses. There was even a brief visit from a local bat as we sat on the balcony! So cool! We will without a doubt be visiting again, and we intend to stay in the John Deere Room as it comes highly recommended. Thanks for a great experience!!

My boyfriend and I spent this past weekend at Pine Lakes Lodge to celebrate our 25th birthdays. We had a coupon for buy one night/ get one free so we booked it even though there were several reviews that made me very nervous. I’m so glad we went anyways!! We had the most beautiful, relaxing weekend away together. We stayed in the Buffalo Hills room and highly, highly suggest it!! It was one of the largest rooms with two balconies and three separate seating areas. It also felt more private, as it did not share the three main walls with any other room. We had no problem at all with noise in the morning, other reviewers who complained about the manager must have been staying on the ground floor.
We did pre-order dinner from the lodge the first night and it was delicious. The steak was a little dry like other reviews have said, but the chicken cordon bleu was fantastic, and so was the dessert. There was a bit of a mix-up when we got to dinner and the chef was flustered thinking that he hadn’t received our pre-order (they ask you to call a few days before so the chef can know how much to prepare), but a staff member quickly figured out that it was another couples order, and we had our food almost immediately. They whole staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and huge, and it’s wonderful they let you take what you don’t eat to go- we kept leftovers in our mini fridge and heated them up later as a snack.
I did notice dust on some of the furniture that doesn’t get used as often, and details here and there like dust on the fake plants and in the edges of the bathroom floor. It truly didn’t take away from the room, the carpet, bedding and towels felt fresh and clean. We felt very comfortable in our room.
The lodge has other great features like two very, very friendly bulldogs around back, a hot tub (which we made great use of!) on the back deck, and lots of games and magazines. We brought some of our own movies and puzzles. Don’t go with the mentality of wanting to keep busy- enjoying the peace and relaxing is what this place was made for!
It was the perfect way to spend our weekend, and the views were incredible. A friendly staff, fun animals like goats and a camel, and lots of homey decorations really make this place special. We can’t wait to come back!

It was our first time there. It was just far enough away but still a reasonable drive. Beautiful Lodge and the room was awesome! Food and service were terrific. We will be back… Oh yeah, best massage I have ever had!

Wonderful place to stay. Have stayed at the lodge before but decided to do a cabin this time. The chef is amazing as well. Highly recommend staying here.
