Like any great love story, Carlie and Talor’s started at a brewery, on their first date. They fell head over cowboys boots in love with each other and less than a year later, Talor proposed in the same brewery. Fall is a beautiful time of year for weddings, so it’s no surprise this adorable couple chose an early October afternoon for their nuptials. With shades of red, orange and purple and the rustic/country atmosphere, everything about their wedding was a real treat. Friend of the family, Kasey McClain did a wonderful job capturing this gorgeous fall wedding!
THE PROPOSAL: “Talor proposed where we had our first date, at Millersburg Brewery. We were surrounded by our immediate family.
WEDDING THEME: KEPT IT SIMPLE
WEDDING COLORS: FALL COLORS (RED, PURPLE, BROWN, BURNT ORANGE)
Carlie’s stunning dress was bought from Lavender’s Bridal and customized to fit her personality. Alterations by Andi in New Philadelphia took Carlie’s dress to the next level, by taking the lacy, beaded gown and adding cap sleeves.
ADVICE FROM THE BRIDE: “Relax and enjoy. Remember it’s only a couple of hours and your marriage is a lifetime! It’ll all fall into place and if it doesn’t go 100% as planned it adds character and will give you something to laugh about down the road!”
FROM THE COUPLE: “We chose Pine Lakes Lodge for the wedding because, it was rustic and beautiful! The reception hall didn’t need much decoration as the lighting and walls made the atmosphere perfect. The lodge was gorgeous for photos and to stay.”
FROM THE BRIDE “Pine Lakes provided a romantic atmosphere and wow’d all of our guests! We were able to capture beautiful memories on the grounds. Unfortunately we could not have the wedding outside, but the hall worked out perfectly for the ceremony and reception!”
