Bruno Mars sings it best with, “Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you” and Michelle and Abe can relate. This adorable duo fell right in concert with one another after attending one when they first met. Once they realized their compatibility, Abe dropped to one knee and they decided to live out their lives in harmony. Their June wedding was peaceful with emerald green and white accents, warm weather and live music. A friend of the family from Kenny and Lynn Untied Photography recorded Michelle and Abe’s charming wedding day in their wedding photos.
THE PROPOSAL: “Abe proposed to me after big plans for an expensive date night turned into something simple that led to Tom’s Ice Cream and a proposal on the Muskingum River, which totally took me by surprise!”
WEDDING THEME: KEPT IT SIMPLE
WEDDING COLORS: EMERALD GREEN AND WHITE
Michelle planned ahead when it came to her dress. Her David’s Bridal strapless, mermaid-style gown made her look stunning and kept her cool during the outdoor ceremony.
ADVICE FROM THE BRIDE: “Make a schedule of events to keep everyone on task or utilize a wedding planner. We used a family friend which took a lot of stress off of us in making sure everything came together exactly how we wanted. Keep it simple and don’t sweat the small stuff! This wedding is truly about you as a couple and what you want, so make sure it’s something you will personally be happy with in the end and worry less about pleasing other people.”
FROM THE BRIDE: “Pine Lakes Lodge is a great place for a wedding! The staff are very easy to work with and are accommodating during your wedding process. They do not hesitate to go above and beyond with your needs. Your guests will love the scenery and seclusion of this outdoor gem!”
FROM THE COUPLE: “We chose Pine Lakes Lodge for the wedding because it offered a new place for an outdoor wedding. The bride and the bridesmaids were able to stay in the lodge the night before while the groom and groomsmen stayed in the Frontier cabin. The morning of the wedding we had a family style breakfast and then parted ways for the rest of the day. It was a lot of convenience, space and gorgeous views for the price. We were also able to have the reception in the Conference Center at the lodge so guests did not have to drive between venues.”
