Here at Pine Lakes we have a variety of housing options for our guests. With three cabins and over five rooms to choose from, in the Lodge itself, we’re positive you will find the perfect space for your vacation. To ease your choice on which cabin to book during your next stay, we are separating our cabins into a three part series. For our second installment, this week’s blog focuses on our Bunk House.
Located closest to the lodge and main road, the Bunk House is the largest of our cabins. The spacious floor plan allows you to move comfortably around on the main level. Just inside the door is a large kitchen complete with everything you need to cook daily meals during your stay. Dishes and cooking utensils are provided for use, meaning the only things you need to bring are food and an appetite.
After eating, you might like to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. At the Bunk House you can do just that in more than one way. Bring board games to play with the kids, or enjoy some movies on the flatscreen television with a group of friends. At the end of the night, get comfortable in the upstairs bedroom. With two queen size beds, the Bunk House bedroom is perfect for a couples retreat or a best friend getaway.
Not everyone likes to spend a weekend getaway confined to the walls of a cabin they are staying in. Some of us like to spend it outside. I mean that is part of the reason you booked the cabin in the first place right? Fortunately for these kinds of people, the Bunk House is just as accommodating on the outside as it is on the inside.
One option for those who like to be outdoors involves fishing. Situated ten feet from the cabin’s front door is a stocked pond. Bring your fishing pole and bait and enjoy a nice day full of fishing. At the end of the day relax by warming up at the fire pit and enjoying delicious homemade s’mores or pie iron cooking. If the smell of campfire doesn’t sound appealing to you, the Bunk House also offers a Jacuzzi. Right on the front deck of the Bunk House is one of our Jacuzzi hot tubs. Slipping into the nice warm hot tub water in the later evening with a significant other is a perfect way to end an adventurous weekend.
If you prefer to split your time both indoors and outdoors while on a camping trip, consider the Bunk House for your next stay! The air-conditioned and spacious living area is great for entertaining smaller groups or couples. On the other hand, just feet from the front door you can endure various outdoor activities for a full day of fun. At the end of the day gobble up s’mores or relax in the bubbly hot tub. The bottom line is, the Bunk House has great potential for your next camping trip. Have you stayed in the Bunk House lately?
