Pantone’s color choice for the year 2020 is classic blue, so you can expect to see variations of blue incorporated everywhere. However, wedding websites like The Knot are saying that unusual colors, such as Neo mint, cassis, faded denim and rich earthy undertones will also be incorporated into color palettes.
It is the “roaring 20’s” once again! The 1920’s definitely had an influence on alcohol, so expect to see a change in alcoholic sips during the next decade, in general. In the wedding scene, we’re going to see an uptick in the usage of mocktails, personalized signature cocktails and now, self-serve bars. This is an exciting trend surly everyone can get behind.
Not that weddings HAVE to have a theme, but with recent natural disasters like the Australian wildfires and the earthquake in the Caribbean, it’s refreshing to see couples taking how their wedding can effect the environment into consideration. Sustainability is predicted to be a BIG trend this year. Expect to see “upcylced” florals and more, less plastic and other sustainable practices in weddings this year.
